Day 2 Nieuwveen to Dordrecht

Last night we found out that not only had we not traveled very far from the airport we had also gone right along the fight path, that along with the frogs chorus from the nearby pond and bloody cockerels   kicking off from about 2:00am meant we probably the only got about 9 hours sleep since we had gone to bed about 8:30.

Great day's cycling today, after quality sausage rolls for breakfast we followed a series of dijks to Gouda Most were lined by pretty plush houses, many wth thatched roofs and all with boats parked in the canals alongside.  Great cycle paths all the way.

After coffee and cheesecake in Gouda it we followed more canals this time lined with lots of coots, ducks, swans, frogs, grebes and herony type things until we got to the World Heritage Site of Kinderdijk with it's rows of traditional windmills.

Ended up at a nice wee campsite at Dotrdrecht and have just had a slap up tea from the local supermarket.
